Traineeship Programs

To develop real competencies, the training must go beyond the classroom into the actual workplace. With this belief, WLCI has successfully forged partnerships with over 400 corporates in India to provide real work opportunities to students alongside their course at WLCI.

These opportunities enable WLCI students to work with leading companies alongside the course and put into practice their learning’s from the classroom.

At the end of the traineeship period, a vast majority of the students are offered a full time employment in the same organisation in which they have worked as a trainee!

This is a win-win situation for both employers and students as the employers get to hire trained professionals instead of freshers.

Job Roles Offered During Traineeship

   Sales

In sales you would be required to sell products or services of a company. Your customers could include business houses or individuals. As a sales executive, you would be responsible for generating prospects, building relationships with clients and getting orders. You would also be responsible for making repeat sales with the existing customers of the organization. Industry.

   Research Associate

As a research associate, you would be required to assist in the development of a market-leading database in the various industry segments. You would be required to analyse different industry verticals and write reports on key market trends & issues impacting the industry.

   Digital Marketing

As a digital marketing executive, you would be responsible for driving traffic to the company’s website. You may also be required to execute the social media plan of the company, engage customers online, advertise on various online platforms such as Google Adwords and improve the website content.

   Talent Acquisition

In this job role, you would be responsible to source, attract, recruit and interview candidates. You would be required to identify the talent requirement of the organization, promote the vacancies, manage relationships with vendors and fulfill the hiring requirements of the organization. In the process, you would also need to counsel the candidate on the salary, benefits and the work culture of the organisation.

   HR Generalist

In a HR Generalist role, you would be required to support the various functions by providing HR services like talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, learning & development, employee relations and HRIS. You may also participate in improving manager and employee performance through coaching.

   Accounting and Transaction Processing

As an accounts executive, you would be required provide financial information to the management, document financial transactions, maintain accounting controls, summarize financial status by collecting information and preparing books of accounts.

   Financial Analyst

As a financial analyst, you would be required to analyze financial plans, forecasts and reports. You would be responsible for providing information to the management by collecting and analysing data and presenting the analysis. You would work to improve the financial status by identifying trends and recommending actions.

   Wealth Management

In this job role, you would be required to manage the banking and investment requirements of high net worth clients. Your objective will be help the client reach his investment goals. You would also be required to build long term relationships with the clients and earn revenues for the company.
